Coin Street's project, Sport for Futures, are runners up in this year’s National Lottery People’s Projects.

We will be awarded up to £10,000 towards sports and wellbeing activities, making a difference to young people in the local area.

We are proud that Coin Street were one of only five organisations to be accepted in the final for the London region and appeared in ITV's London News. Over 12 days last month, a team of amazing volunteers made a valiant effort to secure votes, talking to members of the public and spreading the word about Sport for Futures. The campaign was shared on Coin Street’s social media channels, newsletters, flyers, posters, LED screens and more!

A big thank you to everyone who supported us and voted. A special thanks goes to the young people involved from youth night and youth gym, our volunteer from the London School of Economics, and our partners at St John’s Church, for hosting us and one of our stalls.

Although we didn’t reach top spot, we’re looking forward to future fundraising campaigns, using the invaluable learning from this time. It was great to have so many people from across the community involved and supporting local young people.
