Coin Street family and children’s centre is delighted to announce its partnership with Charles Dickens Primary School, Annette Kingsley-Scott (childminder), and Lambeth Nurseries Federation to become the London South Early Years Stronger Practice Hub.

This collaboration is part of the early years' education recovery support package, generously supported by the Education Endowment Foundation and the National Children's Bureau. The programme has received funding for a two-year period, extending until late 2024.

Early years stronger practice hubs play a pivotal role in providing essential advice, sharing best practices, and offering evidence-based professional development opportunities for early years practitioners. By establishing local networks of early years educators, these hubs foster knowledge exchange and promote effective practices within the early years' education sector.

Fatemeh Mozaffari-Chinjani, Deputy Head of Early Years Education, Coin Street hub lead, expressed her enthusiasm, stating: "The London South Early Years Stronger Practice Hub is an exciting opportunity for Coin Street to provide advice, share best practices, and offer evidence-based professional development for early years practitioners. Our plans include setting up childminder sessions and training opportunities, targeting childminders and nurseries in need of support to enhance their practices. We are delighted to be included in this prestigious project as it acknowledges the high-quality service delivered by Coin Street to provide the best start for children and families."
